COACHING

Challenge your perspective. Empower your future.

In the many leadership roles I have had the pleasure to occupy, I have always emphasised the importance of the coaching element as it is ultimately up to each of the individual people to take up and develop the potential they all have inside themselves.

In my career I have been leading teams from 5 to 25 people in businesses from 50 MLN Euros to 3 BLN Euros and across many different geographical regions. Many of the people who have worked with me made it to important executive roles and some even to CEO positions.

The main driver of your decision to work with me as an individual executive coach or as a executive leadership team coach will be that I have been in your shoes for many years and in multiple challenging circumstances. I will provide learning opportunities by giving constructive and balanced feedback, serve as a sparring partner, help you reflect on your own actions and support you through the relentless pressures on Executives to transform their way of thinking to accommodate present-day realities while achieving stellar results.

Working with me will enable you to work on the purpose, mission, vision and values ("why people should run the extra mile for you and the company?"). We would also work intensively on how to embark people with passion and discipline into the company's strategy. We will work not only on the 'hard edge' but more importantly also on the 'soft edge' of your leadership and organisation. I will assist you and your teams in managing the multiple contradictions that exist in any organisation and support you in leading your teams effectively as changing behaviour needs dealing with cognition and affect.

The Executive Master of Coaching and Consulting for Change I am following since a year at INSEAD emphasises strong dynamic psychotherapy orientations enabling me to get into the depths of understanding psychological processes when coaching and to deal with complex human situations within organisations. Effective leadership coaches are expected to know not only the essentials of psychotherapy but also the requirement of organisational management.
